[Old School Samus]

This design based on Super Metroid, Smash Bros Melee, or both?

It came out great. Maybe the Other M’s sleek suit design or Prime 2 and 3’s design took over.

Still gotta love the retro style.

I don’t fully understand how the top of their outfit works, but I’d have liked the Oni on the right to have visible wrapping around her chest under her right arm. Like, for her top to be a combination of below shoulder shirt and tube top.

Welcome to Newgrounds. Looks like you’ve got a nice start.

One thing I recommend is following common anatomy rules, like the eye line going above the nose line. It’s just a suggestion. There’s factors like head tilting to consider.

One other thing I might’ve done differently is making her fingers as smooth as possible, like how they originally looked in the anime.

You’re doing good. Keep it up.

I agree that fingers look bad, i have problem with hands and there is a long road ahead of me.
I wouldn't say that following anatomy rules is a suggestion, it is more of a principle.
I don't fully understand the eye line part. Head is tilted... so it would mean I have failed to convey tilt i guess.
