I can imagine a variable proportion such as the flesh on the crotch being held out a bit by the clothes but it's hard to get a feel for if it looks right without reference.

Also, by holding my own arm out in her pose I see that her arm is either short or pointing behind her by a lot and foreshortened. It can be tricky to make that look right.

The coloring and skin tone is great all over. Her left leg's outer lines look uneven though. It's not too bad but I think the unevenness of that outer line clashes with the hard lines of the shorts and most other places.
Overall, I wish I could draw this good.

thanks for the feedback, the biggest problem i am having is that i am too focus on the blending and painting part and not the basic structure of the figure.

This is a pretty cute pic featuring chain chomp. That's also a nice cartoon style I think I occasionally see. And she's cute.

Sparrow26657 responds:

thanks pal. Super Mario Bros. is one of my favorite things in my life

Looks very smooth and seems to make good use of simplicity.
The art style also reminds me of the PS2 game Odin's Shpere.
And the subtle touches like the tail wag jus sells it!

I eagerly anticipate your next 3 posts if the first one is this good.

While this piece has an interesting feel with different mediums used one different characters ranging from marker to pen, I fear it might be more suited to the sketch category.

Riveet099 responds:

Ah, maybe. I don't color sketches though, but it is a bit plain, I know.

Sphere is an interesting and ironic name for such a boxy robot.
I like his design, especially the head and neck.

DatCakeIzEhPai responds:

yeah, ironic isn't it?

Compared with the dream armor I first saw in your gallery, the improvement looks pretty big.

JozzyForge responds:

Thank you! That's super motivating to hear!

These are certainly classic characters. You made them recognizable and even threw in the slime that was common in the show.
One general thing I can recommend is to look at a reference image when drawing certain things. Ren's head and arm shape for example might have looked better in its original style.
Though that is speculation, I didn't check.

The chest piece is pretty nice.
I'm not sure what could be done to the left shoulder besides maybe some more metallic sheen like what the right shoulder has, just speculation though.

The style reminds me of illustrations in a D&D monster manual or some sort of logbook.
The texture and angles on the head are especially nice.

Manguinha responds:

Dude, i love the D&D illustrations, specially the Todd Lockwood's draws.

I'm a self taught artist. If you can think of and describe a robot, I can probably draw it.
(Now I draw furries too and sell coms for just $10 over PayPal)
